Killin Highland Cottages


Located on the outer edge of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park in the foothills of Ben Lawers, close to Loch Tay and the famous Falls of Dochart.

12 fully equipped self-catering lodges, sleeping from 2-8 people.

A lovely location to relax and unwind with tranquil surroundings with waterfalls, streams and woodland and an abundance of wildlife.

These family owned and managed lodges are situated within private woodlands and beautifully maintained grounds. All lodges are well equipped with everything you need for a short or longer stay with a range of different lodge configurations available for couples, families or larger groups of up to 8 people.

The Oak and Alder lodges have wood-burning stoves which provide that extra bit of luxury and comfort.

The Waterfall Lodge has a private sauna and a waterfall to enjoy.

All lodges have outdoor dining spaces and fully enclosed spaces for guests and pets to relax.

Nearby, there’s a good selection of traditional pubs, modern bars and restaurants, and with lots of local sites, nature trails, attractions and activities available, thereís no better place to take a break in the Heart of the Highlands, Stirlingshire and Perthshire in Scotland.

All lodges are equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, flat screen TV, Free sat box, Blueray/DVD player, and a CD player.
2, 3 and 4-bedroomed lodges also have a dishwasher.
Each lodge has a fridge with freezer compartment or a fridge/freezer.
Bed linen and towels are included (please specify if you require towels at the time of booking).
Smoking is not permitted.
Free Wi-fi access available in most areas on site and a strong 4G signal available on EE/O2 networks.

Electricity is NOT included. A power tariff applies and is settled on arrival. Costs normally average £3.50 – £5 per day in the summer months (depending on lodge size).

A travel cot and high-chair are available on request at no extra cost – must be booked in advance. Bed linen for the cot is NOT provided ñ please bring your own cot sheets etc. if required.

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement but only if you can guarantee that they will not be allowed on the furniture and will not cause any damage to the property. Pets must not be left unattended at any time in the lodges. Please bring your own pet bedding, towels and feeding bowls with you.

There is a pet charge of £30 per stay up to 4 days and £40 per stay for more than 4 days – please pay this upon arrival.

Check in days are flexible. Short breaks available.

1 Double bedroom (the super-king bed in Rowan 3 Lodge can be separate into 2 single beds if requested at time of booking).

Waterfall Lodge Sleeps 2 (4 stars)
1 Double bedroom, large shower room includes a sauna.

Hazel Lodge Sleeps 2-4 (3 stars)
1 Double/Twin bedroom (will be set-up as a super-king bed, unless singles are requested at time of booking) plus a sofa bed, shower over bath.

Spruce Lodge Sleeps 2-4 (3 stars)
1 Double/Twin bedroom (will be set-up as a super-king bed, unless singles are requested at time of booking) plus a sofa bed, shower over bath.

Alder Lodge Sleeps 4 (4 stars)
2 Bedrooms – 1 Double & 1 Double/Twin (will be set-up as a super-king bed, unless singles are requested at time of booking), 2 shower rooms (one en-suite). Wood-burning stove.

Pine Lodge Sleeps 6-8 (3 stars)
3 Bedrooms – 2 Doubles and 1 Twin plus a sofa bed and 3 shower/wc rooms.

Gean Lodge Sleeps 8 (3 stars)
4 Bedrooms- 2 Doubles, 1 Twin and 1 bedroom with full size Bunk Beds, bathroom with shower over bath.

Chestnut Lodge Sleeps 8 (3 stars)
4 Bedrooms- 2 Doubles and 2 Twins, and 2 shower rooms.
