The hotel is situated on a sheltered bay in the south of Skye, with lovely views over the Sound of Sleat to the hills of Knoydart on the mainland. The hotel has a 2 AA Rosette restaurant offering excellent a la carte dining, and a well-stocked bar which serves a good selection of malt whiskies and local real ale. There are twelve bedrooms (six in the adjacent Garden House) each with its own individual character, and 4 suites in the former stable block which are on two levels. Beside the hotel on the little harbour is the award winning “Gaelic Whiskies”. There is a small shop where you can have a free tasting. Also adjacent to the hotel is a boutique tweed and wool shop.

Bosville Hotel, Portree, Isle of Skye
